This is the house that my father-in-law grew up in. His dad built it and maybe 2 or 3 others around it on river rd. just outside Ottumwa, IA. Showed this picture to my wife and she got all choked up. You can even see her grandpa and her uncle in this picture! Really incredible find thanks for making these available.

Wow! Great picture! My dad,his two brothers and my grandfather built this house. It took two years because they tore down an old two story farm house and barn first and used that lumber to completely frame it. I remember my grandfather hauled the lumber on a wagon behind his Farmhall tractor in 1963-1964.

I believe that is me standimg at the end of the drive watching the palne fly by. My grandparents home.
