This was my Grandfather and Grandmother's farm. They were Carl and Golda Pester. I spent many fun hours helping my Dad, Max Morrow, and my grandfather farm this farm while I was growing up.I wish we still owned the farm.
This is my Grandfather Carl H. Pester's farm southwest of Seymour, Iowa about 2 miles. Growing up I spent a lot of time helping him. Sad, but none of the buildings have survived so I finally have this picture for my memories. Thank you.
Carl and Golda Pester were owners of this farm for many decades and built all of the building and house shown in the picture. Sadly all of the structures are gone now but thankfully have been replaced by new structures. Unlike a lot of original homesteads, this one has been saved! Carl and Golda were my grandparents.
