This is where I live now, 2023. My husband and I purchased this farm in 2001. The only things in this photo that exists today is the barn and several of the burr oak trees. This property was owned by Lowell Holbert in 1980. In about 1983, Holbert's built a red brick ranch style house here and 2 steel buildings. In 2001, my husband Troy and I put an addition on the east side of the ranch style house.
Hi there! Thank you for sharing the interesting history of your farm in Webster County! It's fascinating to hear about the changes over time. Did you or your husband have any involvement in farming on the property? We'd love to learn more about the agricultural activities that took place there. If you have any other memories or details about the area, feel free to share.
