St. John's Lutheran Church at Locust, Winneshiek Co., Ia. and Locust School, Pleasant #3. The road to the left of the school in this picture is the Locust Road going north. The road in front of the school and church is Big Canoe Road. Our family grew up here north of Locust.
I lived across the road from the school. My Dad and Mom ran the Locust Store there.
