born in 1958 and grew up on this place from age 2 or 3 till I was about 17 years old

The current address seems to be 13225 SW 60th St. Halstead, Kansas 67056.
When my family lived there the address was Rt. 2 Box 96 Halstead Kansas 67056

Wow, what a difference. I just looked up the aerial shot on Google maps. Very intriguing!

Floyd is my cousin he farms the land surrounding the home place. Like he said there is a new house now and none of the structures or junk vehicles you can see in the vintage photo remain. My favorite thing about living there was probably that my grandparents lived kitty-corner across the intersection. I would like to see a vintage photo of their place. I have looked through many of the photo rolls but have not found it. Would anyone be able to help. My Grandfathers name was Abraham L. Schmidt (Abe Schmidt)
