We currently live here. Only the house remains.

14630 35th St, Perry, KS, 66073

I grew up here and that garage used to be more intact, is the stone garage foundation there??

The foundation is all that remains of the garage. And there’s no sign of that barn.

Hi Hannah! It's always great to hear from people who have a personal connection with these aerial photos. Do you have any other memories from growing up in Jefferson County that this photo brings to mind? And just to clarify, are you asking if the stone garage foundation is still visible in the photo or currently on the property?

Hi Jacob,
It's always fascinating to see what's changed over time in these Vintage Aerial photos. Do you remember what the barn was used for, or how old it was? Were there any other structures on the property you recall?

I currently live there. The barn has not been here since I’ve lived here.

Barn has been gone since at least before moved in as a kid in 2005. It was a burn pile at that point. The Garage roof was coming down when we moved in and my dad is the one who took the roof down to leave just the foundation. My dads the one who cleaned up a lot of the JUNK on this property, old cars, old appliances etc. My dad also manicured the pond area, and built the orchard. Tried to get started on a pasture above the root cellar in the hill but never completed it. We used to have a playground structure too, but I believe the people who bought it from my dad got rid of it as part of their remodel.

I'm mostly interested in how spooky the property was as a child. Is the Rusty old well still on the property? Between the house and the pond. Also the root cellar, there used to be a cement filled well under the downstairs bathroom in what's now the crawl space.

Yes the rusty well is still there. The playground was gone when we bought it in 2019.

Did you ever hear weird sounds in the house or paranormal activity?

Yes yes yes. Please email me to further discuss that. I was 5-15 years old when I lived in that house. I heard and saw lots of paranormal activity. I know other people who have heard of the area and refuse to go back. I would love to know what you may have experienced there. My email is hannah.waugh2000@gmail.com.

I also have quite a bit of background on the deed owners of the property from the late 1800's

Hannah,

I just sent you a email.
