First homesteaded in 1874 by the Johann P. Flaming family. The barn in this photo was built by Johann and was destroyed by a tornado March 13,1990. The original houses were either torn down prior to the 1960s or moved in 1974-75. This house was built by Dennis & Glendene Flaming in 1975. I grew up here and their son ( 5th generation) still lives here.
