Photo 12-IBO-6

This is the historic Pleasant Vale house once owned by Kentucky Statesman Samuel McDowell. My mom grew up in this house The farm was named Griffarm at the time of this photo.

The smaller house in the bottom right of the picture was built in the pre-WWII years and was used as a summer house for my great-grandparents whose main home was in St. Petersburg, FL. My great grandfather was a doctor and his practice was in Florida.
We always called it the Stone House.
