Originally built by Leeco to process coal from the #59 deep mine behind the plant. Leeco was part of Jim Rose's Interstate Coal Company and clean coal was trucked up to the "Levi" rail loadout on Y Hollow or "Rose Hollow" where Pioneer Village is today. Operated by many outfits over the years including Cobra Coal and now B&W Resources maybe.
