McCubbins General Store Pikeview Kentucky. I was raised in the house across the road from this. In the early days of Pikeview this was a general store post office telephone exchange polling place cream station and greyhound bus stop.

I was born in Pikeview in 1952 across the road from the general store. I don't remember the porch being that long or covered.

My grandparents owned the neighboring farm north of the store. Spent a lot of time at the store with Uncle and Aunt Bud. The post office was there. Folks would congregate every morning to wait on the mail being handed out.
