Whitley City Middle School at the time. Formerly McCreary Co High School

According to my father,Wilse King,his father gave,(sold?) the land for the building of the original high school. Later,when the 'The King Edward Cafe' came to be,high school students would walk up the street for their lunch,usually consisting of burgers and fries,cokes or milkshakes.I have fond memories of the hustle and bustle of the high school lunch rush,all the chatter,saddle oxfords,penny loafers,and the jukebox playing all the popular songs at the time. If I happened to be there for my own lunch I would make the milkshakes for the high schoolers always adding extra chocolate or malt if asked :)
