Old store at Finley. No longer there. Once belonged to my my aunt and uncle, Wilma and Guy Herron. Sign on front reads Herron and Sons.
Was also the Finley, KY Post Office at one time
It was original owned by Luther Sapp. It was Sapp's grocery for years until Guy Herron bought it.It was also owned by Roger Herron and after a while Prather Rafferety owned it. It was later sold to Joe Herron and he is still the owner of the propery. It was a very large building It had a lot of history in the building. the reason for tearing it down the cost to rework the building was too much. i still miss the building.
My grandfather was Luther Sapp. Their house used to sit over to the right of the store. My mom was Ruby Sapp who married Joseph Owen Maupin who lived in Finley also
