This farm was owned by Arthur I. Eleiott until the 1940s when his son Ken took over the farm. In 1949 the family farm house and barn burned in the middle of the night, leaving the Ken, his wife and son with only what they were wearing. They moved a little travel trailer on to the property and lived in the little cottage that you see there on the hill. In 1952 they bought a home on the Station Road in Littleton where Mrs. Eleiott still resides. They raised potatoes, peas and oats on the original farm until the late 80s. It is now owned by a neighbor, David Foster. The cottage is gone and the other out buildings have been replaced by larger storage buildings.
