This is Mountain Brook Farms on the East Ridge Road in Mars Hill, Maine. It was owned by Gerald and Lois Terrell from July 2, 1950 until the late 80's. My parents moved onto the farm the day I was born, and lived their until my mom died in 1984. Then my sister, Kristi, and her husband lived there for a few years. It has been sold 2 or 3 times since I grew up there. The barn was torn down and my dad replaced it with a more modern machine shop in the late 60's or early 70's. Then the Potato house was torn down. My dad renamed the Farm PDK Farms after my sisters and I - Pam, Deb & Kris. Just the week before Christmas this year, the house was torn down. Their are no original buildings on the property. The machine shop is there with the PDK Farms sign still on the building.
