This is the John Graves house . The little house is where my parents Evan and Linda Grass lived for a while with three boys Tracy Todd Troy.

This is where Dean and Mary Lawrence live today. It is on the corner of East Ridge Road, Mars Hill .... First house on left as you turn onto East Ridge.

This is where my mother, Elizabeth Graves Merkel, grew up. Her parents were John & Viva Graves. She had 3 sisters, Frances (McKay), Joyce ( Stearns) , Ann (Smith) and her brother George (Bud) Graves

This was my grandparents' farm--John and Viva Graves. My cousin Susan Merkel Anderson identified the family in her post. It was sold in 1983 or 1984 after my grandmother died. The farm was my second home, and there are so many wonderful memories with my aunts and uncles and many cousins.

My grandparents house too. So many memories of good times with the extended family. Especially Christmas eve! My dad, Bud Graves used to tell me the aerial lights we could see on the mountain was Santa Claus! So miss those days!
