I lived right around the corner and also up the hill for years.

Milton Flewelling farm on Ladner Road Easton

I was born in that house. My grandfather, Charles Henry Flewelling built the house in about 1909-1910 as my father, Milton Flewelling youngest child of Charles Henry carried the nails to the men who were working on the house. My youngest brother, Dwight and his wife Sally currently live in the house.
The barn and shed are now gone. The house now has a light blue siding and metal roof.

I grew up just around the corner and am about the same age as Dwight. Milton practically raised the whole neighborhood. He had every thing we needed. Friends to play with, cows to milk and chase around, chickens, horses,a barn to play in, a garage to throw a baseball against. he either taught or let us learn anything we could think of. He was a perfect gentleman in every way and I can't imagine why he never killed one of us. Great picture of the old place. Leon
