Bernard Webb farm. Rt 1A Fort Fairfield.
This is my parents house. The potato fields are not close to the buildings lime that..The barn blew down and the trees are mostly gone..
My great grandfather, John Sherman Duncan farmed this property until his death in 1947. When his wife Emma died in 1956, ownership went to their son, Cecil. I believe his ownership ended sometime in the 1960s.
My mother, Hazel Mae Duncan, was born here in 1903. Growing up in the 40's and 50's I spent summers on the farm with my Quincy, MA family. Wonderful memories.Visited recently at Potato Blossom Festival time.
