It looks like the original homestead of Arnold & Kay Dow. Pulcifer Road in Mapleton.
My Grandfather, Marley Dow, born in 1888, acquired this house as payment for work done, back in the early 1900's, and moved it from its original place about a mile away to this land. The barn was also moved later from a different location.
Since this photo was taken, the garden to the left is gone, the railroad tracks that wind behind the house has been taken up, this house was torn down and now a smaller white house sits where the swingset is in this photo. The barn is sagging, and the trees to the right of it are very tall, joined by more trees along the potato field on the right.
There is also a two story garage built close to the road, between the rail bed and the driveway.
