Todd Farm where winderemere is

Guy Todd farm. Built by William Henry Dilling. One of two architecturally designed homes in Easton. This home had beautiful craftsmanship. Sadly, it was burned flat in the early ( 1984 ? ) to make way for an apartment complex. Mike Adams purchased the machine shed and moved it to his farm.

Built in 1905, this house replaced an earlier house that had been the main house. The original house was moved across the road and was Gert Dickey's home for many years and then Percy Cannan's. Esma Towle married W. H. Dilling and they lived in the new house until 1933 when W. H. sold the land and house to Guy and Helen Dane Todd. They lived there until Guy died in 1977. Helen then moved across the road to the Manor which had been built on their farm land. She lived in Easton until 2004 when she moved to Florida to live with her daughter Elizabeth. After two short-termed owners, the house was bought and destroyed to make way for apartments.
