Farm was owned by Carl Rasmussen in 1965..ASHBY Road Presque Isle.Current owner is Crown Farms

The little Sears cape was occupied by the family of J. Freeman and Eva Hitchcock at the time....my grandparents. My father James and his siblings Gilbert, Sylvia, and Joanna were raised here. They have many fond memories here and some tragic that are a significant part of our family history. This was known as Green Ridge at the time...now Ashby Road.

Looking for information on the Carl Rasmussen Farm from 1943. His son in-law Bert Robertson crashed a B-26 Bomber while buzzing this house. I'm trying to confirm the location. Crash report indicates it was 9 miles NNE of Presque Isle where the crash occurred.

This was my home. I am Joanna Hitchcock. What has changed: only the house remains. The back barns, potato house, 2 story chicken house and garage is gone. The front barn burned down in 1973.
