FRED ASHBY Farm, ASHBY Road, Presque Isle, Maine

This farm belonged to my great grandfather. My husband and our 2 children currently reside here. Unfortunately, the huge barn burned down in the early 90's. The house is still standing, as is a small well house and the small barn on the right which used to be called the pig barn.

There used to be a tennis court on the backside of the house many years ago.

That’s the first time Ive read “my great grandfather”
Time marches on.
He was a quiet, talented man and a loving “ Grampie” . He brought 2 five packs of bazooka bubblegum every time he dropped by for a visit. One pack just wouldn’t cut it for our crowd. ☺️
