Linwood and Hope McPherson farm I remember this place it was so fun growing up here there, their daughter Anita McPherson morin that is my mom iam Tracy Morin Berry. The barn is not there any more. My Grandparents are both passed away now I miss them dearly. My memories about this place is precious.

The Simpson's live here now. I've had a day care here for the past 17 years. The Smith Rd. Off the waddell road.

I am Todd Stephenson and this wonderful house was my grandparents. Their names were Hope and Linwood Mcpherson. I remember playing under the barn, rolling down the hill, and sledding down the road on a sled with runners. All the great times we all had in that house during christmas and thanksgiving dinners. I used to love staying overnight and having the aroma of breakfast wafting up through the register, that gram was fixing and helping gramp with his large garden and searching for jack -in-the-pulpits with gram...what great memories!!

Todd, you are so right !!! Christmas & thanksgiving with all the kids & grandchildren, the smells of dinner cooking, thank goodness for the memories ! Oh how we miss those times.

My great grandfather Howard Seth Smith build this home and barn in the early 1900's after clearing the land. That is why the driveway and now road to the house was named Smith Road for 911 service (thank you Winfield Sawyer!). My grandfather H. Everett Smith and father Philip Smith were born in the front bedroom. The farm was sold after 1947 for mining and then the McPherson's bought it.

Yes, my Grandfather Howard Seth Smith built this home after the original one burned down. My mother, Zelma Smith Barrett, grew up there with H.Everett and their sister Evelyn Smith Winslow. We have many good stories about life on the farm.
