Fred Russell potato house
The potato house was built in 1960 by Horace Everett and owned originally by Fred and Iris Russell (my parents) until the 1980s. John and Doris Fraser and family lived for years in the house to the right. The shed above the potato house and land left of the farm road was owned by George Hockenhull. A trout pond and pasture were located on the opposite side of the Center Limestone Road and the Russell homestead was just north and to the right of the same road (See 1965 032-OAR-19).
The potato house still is in use, the house is gone, and the property lines have changed.
