Old Hedrich motel-Presque Isle

Set the location.

I remember this hotel I bought my prom dress here in the dress shop, and then later on I bought my wedding dress here my mother was with me on both of those shopping trips.

I took art lessons from Verna Hedrich here in the basement of the motel in the early 70s. She and her husband Lawrence owned the motel. Verna was a wonderful character. She was also a hairdresser and had a little salon on the first floor when you entered. The beautiful dresses Verna sold were designed by her daughter Jessica McClintock who owned a company in San Francisco called Gunne Sax.
