Grant's Dairy, Main Street, Caribou

I grew up in the little house right in the middle of the photo from 1976 to 1994.

That means I should get free rights to the digital file! 😃

I worked in the building at the bottom right (corner of S Main and McArthur) in 1977. It was a former Shell station but was part of Caribou Dodge then.

I grew up and lived in the house in the middle to the far right. This was in my opinion one of the best neighborhoods to grow in. I see above that Jason Lagasse says he grew up across the street and that is true but...this picture is so old that Jason I believe you were not even born yet. The tent to the right of my parents house was actually a tent my three older brothers and their friends spent many a summer in. So many changes in the old neighborhhod but what is truly a hoot is the house that was moved in at the end of the street is not even there yet and that is the only house in the old neighborhood who has not changed hands and my dear friend and past neighbor still resides. Yes Jason that should entitle us to free digital rights lol...

I shoveled a lot of snow at Caribou Dodge and at that shell station where Jeeps were parked in 1977. Shoveling snow at a young age was fun!

I was raised in the fourth house down on the left on Katahdin Ave till I left for college in Fall of 77! The hood was home for many of Caribou's Finest!

I grew up in the forth and fifth house on the right on Katahdin ave!
