This is the Don Robertson homestead. My husband and I live here now. The fields are mostly evergreen trees now.

This is just west of the Caribou Stream on the Colby Road in Woodland.

My parents, Donald and Christina Robertson, moved to this farm shortly after they were married. Everyone in town knew where the Robertsonâ™s lived as my father and, after his death, my mother, was Town Clerk of Woodland from the late 1940â™s until at least the late 80â™s. The dining room of this house was the Woodland Town Office where people came for hunting licenses, fishing licenses, marriage licenses, tax payments, birth records, voting records, etc. When my mother finally gave up the town work, Woodland opened up a formal office near the Woodland Consolidated School.

Got my hunting and fishing license there for a number of years from Mrs. Robertson my first grade teacher.

Hi Nina from your childhood classmate Douglas Peary. I was at your house with my father a few times. I remember tha Petersons store nearbye. I lived in Connecticut near Reland Peterson our classmate until he passed away.
