This farm was in my family for several generations. Ernest L. Smith owned this farm at the turn of the century. (1900) His son Chester S. Smith owned the farm until the early 1960's. Ernest C. (Bud) Smith owned the farm into the 1980's. Sold to Moor farms. All the buildings are gone.
My girlfriend in high school lived here she is Earnest Smith's granddaughter I dont remember it being this large. Did the front part of the house burn because if my memory is correct she lived in the back part.
Much has changed, I was married to Bud smith we lived there for many years,Jeremy I think the girl friend you talk about is Laurie Fletcher Shields,she is my granddaughter, the house remained the same until the Moore,s tore it down to
