The white house was owned by William and Edith Eaton and was located on the West Chapman Road in West Chapman and is now owned by Mike and Betty Ireland. The brook is Alder Brook. And to the left of the brook is the right of way for David and Eva Wood and Chester and Hazel Guiggey.

Grampy Bill called the brook the West Branch. I visited there almost every weekend.I believe Alder Brook drained Alder (Mud) lake a couple of miles further in.

I will never forget Bill, he was our school bus driver all the time we were in school.
