This was my grandparents homestead, Frederick T and Fern P Johnston's place. My grandfather took the T out of his last name so now it be came Johnson. My father Thomas F Johnson was born in that house in 1919 and I Adena B Johnson Wilson was born in the new addition in the back in 1940. There use to be a large fenced in pasture in the back down to the woods for the cows. Our f farm land and woodland was down the road bordering the Boyles farm and the Lovley farm . My mother( Florence ) and father lived in the smaller house with my sisters Brenda and Sally and our brother Michael The farm house burned in August 1983.
