Steaks and Stuff is the large flat roof building in the upper left hand corner of picture. Machias Savings Bank in the lower left. Corner of Parsons and State Street intersection.

Walton's market on the right. Building in the middle was Simpson's Restaurant in the 70's-80 's later shirley and harolds restaurant.
The building in behind was shaw house, later in 1985 it became Vickie's Hometown Restaurant and Catering. Building is still owned by Vickie and Richard Brown.
The grocery store in the back was Graves Shop and Save. Then the state unemployment offices were there, then Bates thirftway. Friends market and now steaks &stuff.
