This look like Rolands Rendezvous in Madawaska, ME.

Madawaska, ME. Roland's Rendezvous

Roland's Rendez-Vous once belong to Gerry Martin a cousin of my husband who was killed in an accident by a snow plow in the 50's. If I'm right it was bought by Roland Michaud, then sold to Leola & Robert Cyr. Now it belongs to our nephew Shawn & his wife Shawna Lagasse, it's called 4 Seasons. Shawn repairs & sells all kinds of seasonal

This was Cyr's Cozy Lunch owned by my Father and Mother Oneil D.Cyr and Isabell Cyr and became known as Rolands Rendevous when my parents sold it to Roland Michaud. We lived upstairs

That's my house! Cool!

the little store next door was owned by theo michaud

Herman, I believe this was a dance hall also when your parents owned it. My widowed Grandmother, Germaine Cote worked as a waitress there and raised 7 children while working there. I remember as a young child when she would get the occasional Saturday night off of work - she was so excited to go BACK there and dance and party as a guest instead of waitressing. She kept working there for a few years after they sold to Roland Michaud and it became Roland's Rendevous. My oldest brother was married there and we celebrated my parents 50th anniversary there 10+ years ago. So many memories of that dance hall.

The house/store next to the dancehall was where I grew up...my Mom and Dad bought the place from my great aunt Marie Martin in 1955........the store was closed and made into an apartment in 1973.........and then the place was sold to Andy Daigle in 1985. not sure who lives there now......

My mother was raised in St Hilaire N.B....my father is St David...
she was one of 18 children married and resided in Lewiston Me. I remember when I was young we would go up for the 4th Of July for a week....my mother and father went dancing every night there and it seems every year a cousin..uncle ..or aunt was getting married and that was THE place for the reception. How things have changed....
