Sylvio Paradis Garage. Business is still in the family his son Bert Paradis then passed down to Bert's son, Gary.
That is the center one they now also have the one on thr right. On the Left was a dance Hall
Brings back great memories!!
With the dance hall was a barber shop louise and Maurice deschaine's father
Rene and Eugenie Deschaines my grand parents on my moms side..Far left, dance hall, barber shop and at one time i believe they had a restaurant {not sure}.
I certainly remember Sylvio Paradis's garage and store.
I was born and raised in Upper Frenchville.
This was the original Sylvio Paradis store and was converted to a car-parts store after Sylvio bought the store and garage next door. I remember when Sylvio Paradis sold Peugot cars there. We used to sit on the bench outside the grocery store, sipping sodas and watching cars drive by.
Our house was on the right of the store, loved going to that store so long ago, they had all kinds of stuff, even bought Christmas for my parents there
