This was My grandfather Joseph F Gervais 's farm on Church Ave. The barn was demolished and the House burnt down. This site has a newer house an barn now and is owned by R. Demontigny.

Which Uncle Pat and Aunt Pat lived for a while with the kids

I remember swinging in the swing with my sister Karen, and cousins Marcel and Jackie Bellefleur We use to tell stories, remember Karen telling the story of "there was a big giant", lol,, also picking potatoes behind the house. at one time, there were cows in the field behind the house...we lived with pere pere after we left Connecticut from 1966-1967. Pere pere made a swing hung from the clothesline for karen and I . You can see someone on the porch and 2 people seem to be unloading wood in the woodshed... I have many fond memories of this farm

Hey this place belong to my parents before Mr gervais bought it in fact thats where I was born then my father both the house infront of Mr Ernest gagnon

This is the house I grew up and lived in til it burnt down in May 1981... Many great memories for me there. Thanks for sharing this picture it brought tears to my eyes seeing it... ;)

I also have many great memories of this house when my Aunt Kate, Uncle Pat and the 5 cousins lived there. My family spent many fun filled weekends visiting with them. Us kids always had a great time playing in the barn, running through the fields, riding bikes and even picking potatoes. All these fond memories are a treasure in my heart. Thanks for sharing this picture!!

when we lived there it wasn;t quite like this piscture the outside has change alot

This is the house i grew up in also.
Alot of good memories there. As well as a few bad memories. This is where we lived when mom passed September of 1979 and when the house burnt in 1981. Nothing looks the same there now with all the new buildings and landscaping.
