this was my uncle Henry Picard farm l use to work on the farm remember when the big barn was builded good times,,,,

Resident to the left was THE GUERRETTE's small mechanic garage late 60's. this was my homestead while growing up. The land was sold in mid 80's to VIP automobile retail chain

Where V.I.P. now is

My grandfather's place! Last farm before the hill to Frenchville. A long ways to walk home from high school!
Different times for sure. Our house, built by my dad, is across the street.

We lived across the street in Romeo Picard's first house, sold it to Roger Ayotte, who still lives there. Reno Guerrette, garage across the street, sold his busniess to my dad Ron Chasse, new business name Ron's Garage. We also bought the barn from Romeo Picard our neighbor. The only two homes that are still there are Roger Ayotte's house across the street and the Picard house next to the barn.

Henry Picard was my mom’s uncle. I remember the farm.
