I lived right there . House on the far right was ours . It is covered mostly by trees. but the old garage is visable. Hercules L. Was next door then Gerard Raymond Sr. 'S potatoe houses next on the left.

The white house is my dad's house. His name was Hercules Levesque. Next door to us was Mr. Leo Raymond. We can even see our huge garden across the street. We also had another garden in the backyard and a chicken coop. I think we can see the roof top of the chicken coop in the picture. To the left is Mr. Gerard Raymond barn. I love that we can see the water tower.

The barn that Mr. Raymond owned (my grandfather) use to me an oil company

This is the house that my husband and I currently live in. It was his parents home before we bought it. We raised our two children there.

The barn shown partially on the left was once the home of Johnston Oil Company. I barely remember when it was open and Phil Frank, our neighbor, worked there. They had a service bay, sold gas, and home heating oil. The company moved to Madawaska in the late 50s or early 60s.

The road across the tracks at the bottom of the picture leads down to "les platains" and to "le pont a Gerard" which was our favorite swimming hole in the St John when we were kids.
