Abraham Michaud house. Saint Agatha Road, Frenchville, ME.

My sister Rella Hebert-Michaud and her husband Abraham Michaud's house. They raised their 8 children here. Lots of good times there. Bernard and his wife Judy live there and raised 4 children there. The barns are gone and their son Bobby and his wife Jeannette's house is there. They raised 2 sons there. The little house in the bottom right of the picture was where my brother Camille Hebert and his wife Yvette lived in the late 40's, he passed away in 1950 and they had two girls. The little house on the left of the main house was the children's play house where their children and my sisters Marie Jeanne, Joan and I also had lots of good times there.

OMG. Where I grew up. So many memories. The huge garden on the right. The playhouse on the left, built by my dad and grandfather Michaud. We all enjoyed many hours of playing in there, I remember one night myself and three other siblings were going to camp out and sleep the night in the playhouse, with the dog tied to the porch for safety. Needless to say we didn't last long. Every time the dog made a noise we got scared. Within an hour, one by one we had all ran back to our own beds in the house. The gravel pit in the background provided many hours of playtime, with siblings and neighbor kids, playing baseball. Building whole towns in the dirt, which included houses with backyard swimming pools, roads to each other's houses. My brothers shared there toy trucks, tractors, cars, etc. we always spent our time with imaginative play. We spent many hours skating on the pond seen behind the playhouse. I could go on and on. Love this picture.

Very fond memories of this house. It was my Memere and Pepere Michaud's house. Lots of fun when we would go and visit as a child. We would drive from Ct. I love the fact that the house is still in the family and can still visit.

This house was build around 1917. When through many hands before Abraham Michaud got in in 1946 it's still the family

To the left there was two big Bard with a shed between both also a shed on this side. Big stable inside with running water from a well on the hill.

I recognized this house right away without seeing any of the comments. This was my aunt Rella and Uncle Abraham's house. We used to visit on Sunday afternoons after visiting my grandparents in Fort Kent Maine. Nice memories. The house and playhouse are still there today and cousin Bernard and his wife Judy own and live there now.
