Gervais home old post office on the left

my daughter lives on the left side of the house very cute apartment and great front porch

This is my brother in law Alcide Gervais & my sister Therese Gervais House

Formerly Joyime Cyr Owned it . The Post Office used to be in the small building to the left.

If you look under the V in the word Vintage in the photo, you will see Mon'oncle Joyime's 2 Oliver tractors; the Row Crop 77 Diesel and the Model 70 that I now own. It wasn't too long after this picture was taken that he stopped farming.

The post office building on the left was actually divided into Ma'Tante Corinne's store on the right, and the Post Office that she ran was to the far left in that building. The gas pumps were in the front of the store, regular and high test.

Alcide an Marie Gervais (Dad an Mom) moved there in 72. my home since i was 4. post office in part of the small building on the left of the house the other part was a store/gas station. i use to go in to the post office part with Mrs Corinne Cyr an bang away on her typewriter for hours. after we moved there Mr Joyime Cyr put a trailer in front of the house an lived there an ran the store an post office till 75 76 what i dont remember are the barns in the back but i heard from mom that they were there i just never seen them or dont remember. the road in front of the house was the old us rt 1 now its old post office rd till the made the other one right next to it. so nice to see a picture of the place before i was there

an now 47 yrs later mom dad are still living here an i came back home to take care of them an now my place
