The Marquis Homestead on Marquis Road in Van Buren. The house has remained in the family and is currently owned by my husband, Nathan Marquis, and I. The potato house and barn to the left are no longer there and the garage has been rebuilt. A beautiful, quiet place to raise a family!

Growing up across the street from the Marquis', I still remember visiting and playing with the younger Marquis children and playing in the barn & garage. Great neighbors! And nice to go back home and know that farming continues to be passed down from one generation to another as well as be able to horseback ride over the same territory I rode on as a kid growing up in that area. Brings back great memories!
