Allen Farm house. Ashland Maine.

This is the Allen Farm Sheridan Road-Ashland, Maine. This was taken AFTER the Barn burnt in 1957. Frank Allen Sr. farmed Potatoes on this 200+acre Farm. Prior to 1929 his father GeorgeHenryAllen farmed. Before George Henry Allen it was the Luther&Abigail(Walker)Butler Farm until late 1800s. The Farm house is still there. The farm land is now a housing development.The hill is still called "Allen Hill" where the Farm house is located.

I remember that barn, it was built the same yr my mother was born, it had the date on the barn 1914.
