The McCormack Farm in Nashville, Plt. Maine. Would love to know the year of this photo and how I could get a print of it. Current owner is Sarah Brooks and it is a working horse farm, home of North Woods Saddle Expeditions,.

I remember that farm, I believe this was taken between 1963 and 1967.

Sarah over to the right upper corner next to the print are to links. It looks like you can order a printed copy for $199.

My grandmother was Grace McCormack. She married
C. Wilbur Sutherland & they lived in Portage. I remember
visiting this farm frequently with my father, Harry, sometime before
summer 1939 when he died & we moved to Belfast, ME.

I spent a lot of nights there and watched the property while people stopped and picked up a deer to take home at night.

Sarah, the year was 1965. It's located in the URL 1965/OAR/75/32. Year/ .../ Roll 75, frame 32.

I used to mow the lawn for Stanley and Merton McCormack. The two brothers lived there with their sister, I believe that her name was Pearl but I'm not sure. Stan used to help me mow but he would always quit when "The Price is Right" was playing on the TV. It was his favorite show. I used to trim around the head stones in their family cemetery, which usually resulted in me being invited in for a snack after I was done. Merton even gave me an old Ford truck as a tip one summer. They let me go in to the ICU to see Stanley when he died. The hospital would only let immediate family in there but Merton told them that I was as close to a son that they had so they let me in. Lot's of fond memories of those people.

I am the last McCormack in this line. I have some wonderful memories of this farm and my family who lived there and are buried there in the family cemetery. I don't mind sharing my email with any one who would care to share news or memories. maggiemaine@aol.com
