This is the one I was looking for! The Orcutt Farm. Portage Road, Ashland.

I believe that this is the Orcutt farm.

Many great memories here, when people "just stopped by" to visit. Always a plate of cookies on the table and beautiful Christmas tree at the holidays.

Yep, it's Rosalvo Orcutt's farm. One of his sons (Bill) is my classmate. The barn is gone.

My mother and father, Carl and Irene Coffin had the farm next to the Rosalvo Orcutt farm. I lived with them in 1963 in order to be able to finish my senior year in HS before Lorene Orcutt and I went to Washington D.C. to work. My Dad's farm, plus the John Prue farm, lost their farms due to foreclosure. It was a devastating time for our families and many other farming families in the 1960's when we lost our homes due to bank take over. Our Parent's and the children from both families were scattered in different States to live because we had no place to go. The Orcutt's were very kind to take me in so I could finish my last year in high school with my friends. This photo brings back both happy and sad memories from my child hood. The big farm fell down but a smaller version was built. I have seen both arial photo views. Beautiful farm photo's.

Sorry, I meant to say the big red barn.
