This is my Uncle Clarence And Aunt Blanche House and garage plus Venieta and Joe Shaw house on Benjamin Street

This was my parent's, Clarence & Blanche Grass, home for approximately 67 years. I, along with my brother Robin, sisters Veneita and Cathy, roamed the back fields and learned to swim in the pond out back. I mowed the lawns around the pond and put up the flag pole in the back of the pond. I first picked potatoes for Bill Smith in the field up back, (notice the potato rows in the upper right). I picked behind a one row digger hauled by a team of horses. It was a great place to grow up. In the early years, my Dad had a machine shop in the Quonset building along side the house where he repaired farm machinery. The dark house to the right is where my sister, Veneita Shaw lives with her husband, Joe. Unfortunately, when we sold the property, it was never kept up and currently does not look like this photo.
