Bailey's General Store, Harpswell Center, Maine. Now the location of the Harpswell Historical Society

Yes, this was my familys store for 32 years. Bill and Charoltte Bailey owed this store. It was totally awesome back then. We sold everything under th sun. We had gas, clothing, toys, nails, cut glass, cut the most delicious meats that we cut up daily, had groceries. It was a mini walmart. Dad, "BILL BAILEY" got cancer in the 80s. It was very sad. We had to sell the store so in order to Keep Mom with money coming in over the next 30 years. Bill Died in 1984. Now the Harpswell Historical Society has It.
