Naples Super Market

Originally built as a casino in Naples, Maine. Beside it to the left is Gus Bove's gas station and store.

The Naples Casino located on Route 302 in Naples, Maine

Re: Maine Memory Network: "The Casino in Naples opened in 1902 and served as the amusement center for the town, hosting movies, dramas, fairs, and other events. It was built by the Longwood Real Estate Company at a cost of $8,000."

When I was dating a worker at one of the area summer camps, we ate here about every other week -- it was a Howard Johnson's at the time.

Used to have a roller rink and bowling alleys I believe

Gus’s little building was turned into a donut shop in the mid 70’s, the name was John’s Donuts.
