French's farm market Rt.32 We bought veggies there for years. Thomas French had an extensive rock collection housed in the store for all to enjoy.

149 Vassalboro Road (ME-32), South China, ME. Today known as 3 Level Farm. All structures, except for maybe the drive-in structure between the home and barn and farm stand, still exist today.

Starting from the left; the fields to the top left are now farmed, with a covered area for manure behind the structure at the left and other small structures in the area. That building has been heavily modified - almost all of the windows on the front have been removed (except for the leftmost) in favor of a very wide chimney, and all the windows and doors facing the right have been replaced by three garage bays. The smaller chimney at the rear has since been removed.

The main house structure appears very similar to this photo, but with some changes. The entire structure is now clad in vinyl siding, and has a metal roof. A curved-glass greenhouse/porch area was added along the side of the rear ell, extending from the back of the main house until about the last set of doors in this photograph.

The only noticeable changes to the barn is the addition of a cupola about midway along the roof ridgeline, and a metal roof.

The greenhouse still stands today, but the rows of plants to its right have been allowed to become overgrown. The trees that separate the rows from the greenhouse have grown quite a bit.
