This was owned by Oscar and Alice Twitchell starting sometime in the 1940's. According to Oscar's father, AI Oscar Twitchell-my great uncle, the barn was originally on the other side of Fore Street. He moved it across the street using rollers, block and tackle and a single horse. The next building to the North is what was a one room school house when I was in the lower grades. It was closed in 1947 and converted into a house.
