Family farm

I grew up just down the road and played here with all of the Ladd kids!

Not long after this photo was taken my dad died. The farm was sold and subdivided. Over the next 25 years the buildings were completely updated and remodeled from house to barn, top to bottom! The work maintained the same sructure shape and design. Horses were boarded in a beautifully redone barn. Then, presumably from internal combustion from a load of hay, fire destroyed the barn and shed? Remarkably, the fire department managed to save the house, which still exists today.
