This was the home of Andrew and Adelaide Black.

25 Heron Cove Road in Phippsburg, Maine. Heron Cove Road was the historical town road as laid out in the early 19th century, it was bypassed in the early 1950's when a State Aid Highway improvement project did work from the Winnegance causeway up to a little ways past the Sportsmen Club area (those surveys are at SCROD office). The general area in this picture was originally part of the land owned by John Parker III and then it transferred in ownership to Weber/Noble/Lithgow persons. If one looks at the 1743 survey map of Arthur Noble's land and then compares it to Google maps it is easy to see the approximate line of Noble's southern boundary. Likewise, there is a rock wall that defines the southern boundary of Noble's land in the Fiddler Reach area (not sure when the wall was built but it is indicated in numerous surveys moving back in time over 50 years).
