Embden School

My father, Allan Poland, was principal at that school around this time. He would take us up on the weekends to help mow the lawn. Some kids wanted to play baseball and they had no equipment. My dad took the whole family to Bangor and he bought some baseball equipment for the kids, out of his own pocket.
