On left portion of photo is Kettlehut property, which was sold to Glenlord Lumber circa 1978 and plated as Landings Subdivision (LARA on Michigan.gov site). This land was originally cleared by Dempster Wood during the 1840s-1850s (Berrien County Probate, US Census 1840-1850, 1860 Wall Map).
